We may be saying goodbye to the EUR500 banknote, but here comes the CHF1000!
The fifth note of the 9th Series of Swiss Franc banknotes is scheduled to enter circulation on March 13, 2019. The note, in its traditional purple colour, will seek to showcase Switzerland's communicative flair, with "Language" chosen as the key motif. You will have to wait until the public presentation on March 5th to see what it looks like.
As with the rest of its siblings in the 9th series, the note will be printed on Landqart's Durasafe substrate.
