Launch of New Banknotes on Durasafe® in Namibia

We are proud to support the next generation of Namibian banknotes.

On Wednesday, 23 July 2025, Landqart was represented at the official launch ceremony of the new NAD series in Windhoek. Our CCO, Antonio Riccio, had the pleasure of meeting Cindy Fillipus, Deputy Director Currency and Banking at the Bank of Namibia.

The following day, he was warmly welcomed at the Bank by Sencia Rukata, Director of Banking Services, and Deputy Governor Ebson Uanguta, providing an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the new series.

We are particularly proud that our Durasafe® substrate was selected for the NAD 10 and NAD 20 banknotes. Together with our valued partner De La Rue, who printed these denominations, we are pleased to have contributed to this important national project.
